Fiestas are celebrated on 24th June, in honour of San Juan
The southernmost village of the Larraun valley, Madotz has only 17 inhabitants but a selection of huge houses that once belonged to the nobility. The church, iglesia de San Juan Bautista was built in 1818 in the neoclassic style.
From the road there is an interesting panorama of the surrounding countryside.
